Support the program for digital transformation of Supply Chain activities (S&OP process)

Context

  • Animal health company

Within the IT team supporting project management (Project management for the scope of the 2 French industrial processing sites), the mission will be to implement a best-in-class E2E Supply Chain planning technology (Kinaxis) :

  • Implement standard ways of working/processes across E2E SC to get maximum benefits from the tool
  • Align roles & responsibilities to support standard SC ways of working
  • Reinforce SC fundamentals like ERP process adherence, data management
  • Support the organisation to adopt the change
  • Manage and monitor the sub-projects to ensure on time completion of activities
  • Increase Satisfaction at work

 

  • Company’s supply chain needs to evolve to support the future growth of the business to support revenue growth (reduced lost sales), optimisation of inventory (reduced write offs), and control of the supply chain.
  • This needs changes in ways of working, roles & responsibilities, and tools.

  • Kinaxis – solution Maestro deployed & used (APS software)
  • Demand and Supply Processes defined, deployed and used
  • SC teams and stakeholders knowledgeable and supportive of the new operating model
  • Engagement pulse survey
  • Key Users community organized and active
  • Job family and job description for each role updated and implemented
  • Job family and job description for each role updated and implemented
  • Org chart revised and implemented
  • SC impacted people development plan updated to secure each one in the new Operating model
  • Golden data defined; implemented, used as single source of truth

Description & added value

  • Coordination of the IT activity of the Supply chain transformation program of the S&OP processes (Life Cycle management team – publisher Kinaxis Solution Maestro)
  • Detailed analysis of the existing application ecosystem
  • Definition of interfaces with Maestro and monitoring of developments and tests
  • Preparation of the implementation of Maestro on its Core Model in France/Spain/Portugal
  • Knowledge transfer plan with the new application manager (Transition Manager
  • Preparation of an upgrade of the existing APS (Vanguard) and implementation into production
